Aspen First Movers Summit

It was a rare treat to be among the kind of open-minded, diverse and deeply knowledgeable people gathered at Aspen Institute's First Movers Summit in Chicago on October 21 as a moderator on a panel exploring business model innovation and some of the highlights of the report I co-authored with John Elkington and Jacqueline Lim in 2016, Breakthrough Business Models.
The Summit is held for fellows of the First Movers program, hosted by Aspen's Business & Society Program. I knew we were going to get along just fine when, over dinner the evening before my presentation, I was seated beside Judy Samuelson who founded the program and within five minutes we were debating who is the bigger fan of author Marjorie Kelly. It might have been a tie.
